How VIVOBASE works

A small device that stays in the background.

Three steps, then VIVOBASE quietly runs in the background. No screen, no settings, nothing to pair.

    Choose a place

    HOME goes into a socket in the room where you spend most of your time, such as the bedroom or living room. MOVE is charged and comes with you: to the office, the hotel, on your travels.

    Switch on

    An indicator light shows that VIVOBASE is running. There is nothing else to do: no screen, no settings.

  3. 3

    Carry on as usual

    Wi-Fi, phone and devices stay on. VIVOBASE stays quietly in the background, and your everyday life does not change.

What is behind VIVOBASE.

This is how VIVOBASE GmbH describes its device.

    Static, not oscillating

    VIVOBASE generates a weak electrostatic field. Unlike Wi-Fi or mobile signals, it does not oscillate.

    Modelled on the atmosphere

    The field is modelled on the natural electrical signals of the Earth’s atmosphere, known as sferics.

  • 03

    Not a transmitter

    VIVOBASE itself does not transmit radio signals. There is no screen, no settings and nothing to pair.

    Developed by VIVOBASE GmbH, founded by Jochen Seipel in 2016. Work on it began back in 2010.

Jochen Seipel

Dipl.-Ing. (FH), founder of VIVOBASE GmbH and co-founder of VYRA

Jochen Seipel is an engineer specialising in building systems technology. For many years, he has explored the technical characteristics of modern electromagnetic environments. This work led him to found VIVOBASE GmbH. Within VYRA, he contributes his expertise to SPACE and BODY.

Which model is meant for which place?
HOME is meant for your home, apartment and family. MOVE for travel, the office and life on the go. CORPORATE for offices, hotels, clinics and public spaces.
What is the difference between HOME and MOVE?
HOME is made for your own four walls: plug it in and it stays quietly in the background, with no screen and no settings. MOVE is the portable, rechargeable model for the office, the hotel and travel. MOVE comes with a protective bumper, a charging cable and power adapter, and a user manual.
How does VIVOBASE work?
According to VIVOBASE GmbH, VIVOBASE generates a weak electrostatic field modelled on the natural fields of the atmosphere. The field is static, and VIVOBASE itself does not transmit any radio signals. In everyday life, that means: plug HOME into a socket, charge MOVE and take it with you. There is no screen and there are no settings.
Which colours are available for MOVE?
The protective bumper for MOVE comes in grey, black, blue, orange, yellow and green. You choose the colour when you order.
How is CORPORATE installed?
VIVOBASE CORPORATE is a black box for the wall. There is a separate version for installation in the electrical cabinet. Which one fits is something we clarify together in the consultation.
How does the CORPORATE consultation work?
Every environment is looked at together first, with a consultation and an on-site assessment. VIVOBASE CORPORATE is then planned to match the environment.
What does VIVOBASE cost?
VIVOBASE HOME costs CHF 398 and VIVOBASE MOVE CHF 298, both incl. VAT. For Germany and Austria, EUR 398 and EUR 298, plus import VAT (19% in Germany, 20% in Austria) and any customs duty, due on delivery. You can order both directly in the shop. CORPORATE is available on personal request: we are happy to advise you and then prepare an offer.
